Free access to 40 Lufthansa lounges worldwide

Lounge lovers watch out!

Amex has long been a pioneer when it comes to creating airport lounge experiences for its cardholders. Since its inception in 2013, the Amex Centurion Lounges have become a valuable asset for those with premium cards such as the American Express Platinum Card.

Since 2017, selected Lufthansa lounges have also been available at the airports in Frankfurt (FRA) and Munich (MUC) if holders of an Amex Platinum fly with Austrian, Lufthansa, Brussels Airlines or Swiss. Amex is now announcing a significant expansion of this partnership and adding more Lufthansa lounges at 14 additional airports worldwide.

More Lufthansa lounges for Platinum cardholders

So far, Amex Platinum cardholders who flew on an Austrian, Lufthansa, Brussels Airlines or Swiss flight on the same day could only use Lufthansa lounges at two airports: in the satellite area of T2 at Munich Airport (MUC) or in Terminal 1 area B. at Frankfurt Airport (FRA).

However, Amex is now expanding access to the Lufthansa lounges worldwide as to various German airports. Remember that most Lufthansa lounges in the USA are already part of the Priority Pass program.

The perfect match: Amex Platinum with permanent access to Lufthansa lounges
